McConaughy Fund Grants & Scholarships

The Louis C. McConaughy Fund, first incorporated in 1962 for the purpose of helping establish a military school in Atchison, has since become one of the primary ways Trinity Church supports a variety of outreach and educational ministries. 

When it became apparent that establishing a military school was not feasible, the Church successfully petitioned to allow the Fund to be used for "charitable, educational, and religious purposes."  Over the years, the Fund has distributed more than $5 million dollars in grants and scholarships to both organizations and individuals. 

Currently, the primary mission of the McConaughy Fund is to help provide educational opportunities to residents (especially youth) of Atchison and the surrounding areas.  Individuals seeking opportunities for college, vocational, or professional education and training are encouraged to apply for a scholarship.

Applications along with other required documents are to be submitted by 1 MAY 2012. NOTE:  No Late Applications and/or Required Materials will be accepted.
